The calcium carbide cleaner production technology plan is released
June 06, 2018
The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology recently issued the "Proposal for Promoting Cleaner Production in the Calcium Carbide Industry". By 2015, it will complete the industrial application demonstration of carbon dioxide furnace gas production methanol, dimethyl ether and other chemical products, hollow electrode technology, carbon dioxide recovery and utilization technology in lime kiln exhaust gas, and accelerate the promotion of technology, gradually realize the calcium carbide furnace gas, lime kiln exhaust gas The high value-added use and the recycling of coke powder and lime powder.
It is reported that the use of calcium carbide furnace gas production of methanol, dimethyl ether and other chemical products technology, in 2015 is expected to produce 21 million tons of calcium carbide (hereinafter the same), will reduce carbon dioxide emissions 1.237 million tons, saving about 300,000 tons of standard coal. The technology is currently in the industrialization test phase, with a potential penetration rate of 40%. It is expected that the penetration rate will reach 10% by 2015.
Hollow electrode technology is currently in the experimental stage of industrialization, with a potential penetration rate of 60%. It is expected that the penetration rate will reach 20% by 2015. Each year, 380,000 tons of lime powder, 252,000 tons of carbon powder, and 0.2 million tons of electrode paste can be recycled.
The carbon dioxide recycling technology in lime kiln exhaust gas has a potential penetration rate of 20%. It is expected that the penetration rate will reach 5% by 2015, and CO2 emissions will be reduced by 610,000 tons per year.
